Oklahoma is already a vast recruitment center, especially for the Army and the Air Force, with 4 military bases including: Tinker Air Force Base, Fort Sill, Vance Air Force Base, and Altus Air Force Base. Oklahoma youth are confronted at every turn by recruiters. It is our philosophy to use this large recruitment base against the recruiters with direct action.

Additional Info:  Members of our Florida non-profit corporation were identified as "credible threats" to military recruiters and recruiting facilities in the CIFA database under the TALON program. Our mission is to inform, educate, and encourage students to think about their choices and make informed decisions. We also train activists in other areas of Florida in achieving access to schools and effectively carrying the message about military recruiters' mis-information,
dis-information, and omission of facts about military enlistment and life before, during and after military service.

We have been leafleting counter-recruitment materials at Los Angeles area high schools for almost 3 years. We leaflet a different high school about every 3 weeks.  We also leaflet and give information at community events.  This year our leafleting team
began to work officially in  conjunction with CAMS (Coalition Against Militarism in Our Schools).
