Additional Info:

The New York Civil Liberties Union is the New York affilite
of the American Civil Liberties Union. We believe that military recruiting practices threaten students' right to privacy, right to a sound education, and right to be free from government harrassment.

The NYCLU's Project on Military Recruitment and Student Rights is active in trying to bring about change at the local and federal level to ensure that students rights are preserved in the face of aggressive and heavy-handed military recruitment tactics.

Your donation to NNOMY works to balance the military's message in our public schools. Our national network of activists go into schools and inform youth considering military service the risks about military service that recruiters leave out.
