Additional Information:

Our staff is primarily youth of color, ages 15-19.  We:
- run c-r trainings and workshops;
-provide information on alternatives to the military;
- have formed a coalition including students, teachers, lawyers, and activists to get the NYC Department of Education to implement policies restricting military recruiter access to our schools;
- assist people who want to get out of the Delayed Entry Program (DEP);
- provide up to date statistics on military recruitment issues;
- develop written materials;
- assist in documenting cases of recruiter misconduct and in filing and persuing complaints;
- work with organizations who focus on related issues, such as quality education, immigration, the school-to-prison pipeline, etc.
